Do you love golf, being outdoors, and helping people have an awesome day on the course? Prestwick Country Club is looking for a Starter / Ranger I — someone who keeps the game flowing, the guests smiling, and the course running smoothly.

Your mission (if you choose to accept it):

As a Starter / Ranger, you’re the heartbeat of the course. You help control and maintain the tee time schedule, make sure guests have the information they need, monitor pace of play, and serve as the friendly connection between players, staff, and management. You’ll help promote the facility, encourage proper golf etiquette, and step in whenever on-course assistance is needed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Greet guests and thank them for playing
• Organize tee times, cart numbers, and group details
• Keep pace of play moving and assist with course traffic flow
• Monitor cart use and help maintain safe, respectful play
• Enforce course rules and support golf etiquette
• Help maintain course conditions (divot sand, ball marks, bunkers, etc.)
• Check on-course restrooms and overall course presentation
• Communicate with the pro shop about course operations
• Assist with tournaments, outings, and special events
• Provide outstanding customer service at every opportunity
• Promote a positive team environment and represent Prestwick professionally
