Engineer I - Pool Technician - Full Time at J W Marriott – Las Vegas, Nevada

Role: Clean and maintain all Pools and bodies of water on the property.Adheres
to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters team work and provides excellent
guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Ø Minimum one year experience maintaining commercial pools and spas preferred.

Ø Able to adjust and balance pool and spa water chemistry.

Ø Three years’ experience working in a resort preferred.

Ø Basic knowledge of building maintenance.

Ø Able to solve problems using basic trouble shooting skills.

Ø Responsible for the safety of him/her self and others.

Ø Knowledge of SDS, occupational hazards and applicable safety hazards.

Ø Basic knowledge and handling of pool and spa chemicals.

Ø Knowledge of basic methods and practices used in preventative maintenance and repair work.

Ø Ability to operate power tools.

Ø Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with associates, guests, and vendors.

Ø Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times both internal and external.

Ø Ability to assist in the maintenance of work orders and chemical records.

Ø Ability to accomplish tasks within strict deadlines.

Ø Ability to continually seek improvement in results.

Ø Basic skill in diagnosing and repair of applicable equipment.
