Medical Office Lead - Cardiology at National Kidney Partners – Tampa, Florida

Location: Tampa, FL

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Lead to oversee the daily operations of our cardiology practice in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient patient flow, coordinate scheduling, manage staff, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a background in medical office supervision, and experience with authorizations and referrals. Cardiology experience is preferred but not required.

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery.
• Coordinate scheduling for patient appointments, tests, and follow-ups.
• Supervise staff including training, managing timesheets, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Handle billing, insurance claims, authorizations, and claim resolution.
• Foster a positive patient experience through effective communication and support.

• Authorization and referral background required.
• Cardiology background preferred but not required.
• Medical office supervision experience required.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality standards.

This is an on-site position with working hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
