About This Position
The Leave of Absence Coordinator at TCI provides essential administrative support for the established absence management team. This role involves managing various administrative tasks, including completing LOA-related forms and documentation, as well as creating and supporting the entire LOA process, from initiation to disposition. The LOA Coordinator serves as a vital resource for the Leave of Absence Administrators, ensuring timely communication and follow-up while supporting both employees and management in navigating the LOA program effectively.
SPECIFIC SKILLS NEEDED
Proactive approach, strong organization skills
Knowledge of all applicable state and federal laws including but not limited to FMLA, CFRA, PFL, ADA, PDL, etc.
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple LOA cases and maintain accurate follow-up tracking and timely communication.
Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service-oriented skills.
Attention to detail, effective organization skills, and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, HRIS systems/Oracle, State Reporting Programs and other software necessary to carry out job duties
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
Required:
1 year of HR experience
Prior exposure to Leave of Absence management in any capacity
High School diploma
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree
