Job Title: Personal Care Assistant – In-Home Care (Female Caregiver)

About the Role
As a Life Enrichment Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Clients need full hands on with mobility, living independently with four friendly cats. We’re looking for a caregiver who can bring patience, organization, and warmth to this daily routine.
Responsibilities
• Provide full hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and repositioning.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and use of appropriate equipment as needed.
• Help maintain and improve the condition of the home through light cleaning and organization.
• Support errands and transportation needs as part of fostering connections and independence.
• Offer emotional companionship, engaging conversation, and genuine empathy in all interactions.
• Care for and respect the household’s cats as part of the client’s comfort and happiness.
Schedule & Environment
• Weekend schedule Saturday and Sunday 10:00am to 3:00pm
• Non-smoking home
• Home currently needs improvement — a calm, patient, and proactive approach is key
Qualifications
• Female caregiver as requested by the client
• Prior experience working with bed- and chair-ridden clients required
• Must be comfortable working in a home with cats
• Ability to safely lift, support, and transition a client
• Compassionate demeanor with strong communication and time management skills
