We are looking for a full time lunch server to join us for our spring and summer season. This is a seasonal position with the chance to stay on permanently based on performance and staffing availability come the winter season.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for coordinating own table section.
• Communicates with front and back-of-house team members to provide an excellent and memorable dining experience for our guests.
• Describes and suggests menu items and beverages, including seasonal specialist.
• Takes and processes guest orders and ensures that all items are properly prepared and served in a timely fashion.
• Facilitates entire guest experience, from time they are seated through departure, ensures guest satisfaction, and responds to additional requests.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to converse with guests in a warm, friendly, gracious manner.
• Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must enjoy guest service, have excellent organization skills, and great sense of timing.

Other Job Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Prior experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant, preferably one that serves seafood, is required. Strong knowledge of wines, preferably Northwest wines, is also helpful.

Physical:

Must be able to stand and walk for periods of up to four hours. Must be able to bend, stoop, and carry up to 20 pounds frequently.
