Responsibilities

• Interview clinic patients and record patient’s medical history
• Measure patients’ height, weight, vital signs, including blood pressure
• Assist physician with patient examination and in-office procedures
• Give patients injections or medications as directed by the physician
• Collect and prepare patient specimens for laboratory tests
• Enter patient information
• Maintain inventory of medical and office supplies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduation from accredited School of Medical Technology
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a demanding environment
• Ability to prioritize, use good judgement and remain calm during moments of crisis.
• Exhibit clear attention to detail and anticipate the needs of physicians.
