Senior Product Manager, AI – Full Time Position

TerraPower is seeking a Senior Product Manager, AI to lead the identification, prioritization, and deployment of high-value AI capabilities across the company’s digital product ecosystem.


This role sits within the Digital Products & AI organization and focuses on ensuring that AI is applied where it delivers measurable impact across enterprise, engineering, plant delivery, and future plant operations. You will translate emerging AI capabilities into deployed, production-grade functionality within TerraPower’s internal digital platforms and tools, enabling faster decision-making, improved efficiency, and stronger program execution.


This is not a research or strategy-only role. The successful candidate will define and execute an actionable AI use case roadmap and drive delivery of real, adopted capabilities into TerraPower’s core digital products and workflows. The Senior Product Manager will report to the Director of Digital Products & AI and play a central role in shaping TerraPower’s digital product portfolio for First of a Kind delivery and fleet deployment.


Responsibilities

Identify and Prioritize High-Value AI Use Cases


• Establish and maintain a clear, prioritized portfolio of AI use cases across engineering, construction, and operational workflows


• Evaluate opportunities based on value creation, feasibility, and alignment with TerraPower’s digital architecture


• Partner with product managers, engineering teams, IT, and stakeholders to identify where AI can materially improve outcomes.


• Drive decisions on which AI initiatives to pursue, sequence, or decline.


Drive Deployment into Digital Products and Workflows


• Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and IT to integrate AI-enabled capabilities into TerraPower’s core internal platforms and tools.


• Translate AI/ML capabilities into practical features and workflow improvements within existing systems.


• Ensure AI initiatives move from concept to deployed functionality with real user adoption.


• Define success metrics and track value realization for AI-enabled capabilities.


Connect AI Capabilities to Business Value


• Develop clear business cases and deployment plans for priority AI initiatives.


• Coordinate with internal technical teams and external partners to deliver AI-enabled functionality.


• Ensure AI deployments improve decision quality, reduce manual effort, accelerate timelines, or mitigate risk.


• Communicate roadmap, progress, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.


Operate Within a Regulated and Secure Environment


• Ensure AI initiatives align with export control requirements and regulated engineering environments.


• Work with legal, IT, and engineering teams to support responsible and compliant use of AI technologies.


• Support maturation of practical guardrails for safe deployment of AI within TerraPower’s digital ecosystem.


Key Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field.


• 7+ years of product management, technical product management, or equivalent experience.


• Experience delivering software or data-driven capabilities in complex technical environments.


• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their practical application within enterprise or engineering tools.


• Experience working in regulated, security-sensitive, or export-controlled environments.


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying AI-enabled capabilities into production enterprise tools or workflows.


• Background in engineering software, technical platforms, or data-rich environments.


• Experience working across multiple teams to deliver cross-functional technology initiatives.


• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into practical product direction.


• Experience in energy, infrastructure, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries.

TerraPower’s technology is controlled for export by various agencies of the U.S. Government. Job Details

Salary Range Level 11: $125,257 - $208,762


* We typically place offers in the lower to middle portion of the range to maintain internal equity and allow room for growth. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
