LSG Sky Chefs with over 75 years of Catering history is hiring immediately for Full-Time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. We are the worlds leading provider of end-toend airline products and services with a fast-growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service. Duties/ Responsibilities Responsible for receiving, properly dating and rotating, and storing products in designated storage areas according to FIFO practices. Responsible for delivering various products to various departments on continuous basis, or according to a delivery schedule, or by requisitions/kit. Decant products following FIFO practices, accurately record liquor/beer/wine usage on daily liquor decanting log, handle food according to HACCP Guidelines. Must keep work area/department clean and organized. Breaks down cardboard and follows the recycling process. Must work safely following safety guidelines. Job Skills and Qualifications: Must be willing to work in a stressful fast paced work environment Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment Must be able to work around moving equipment and wet floors Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. or push up to 50 lbs. Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for 8 to 10 hours per shift Must be flexible to work various positions or complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays subject to change due to shift bidding Must be able to read, write and speak English Previous forklift and electric pallet jack experience preferred |
