Janitorial/Construction Cleaning Sarasota at Klen Space Inc. – Sarasota, Florida

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Expected Hours: 35–37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Locations: Sarasota, FL or Rosewood Lido Key, FL area

Job Type: Full-time, In-Person

Benefits:

● Health insurance eligibility after 90 days of continuous full-time employment (35–37.5

hours/week), starting the first of the following month

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Cleaner will be responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of large commercial buildings

and public facility areas. Duties include, but are not limited to:

● Remove trash and debris; clean interior sliding glass doors and windows

● Clean and disinfect kitchens, bathrooms, fixtures, appliances, and cabinets

● Clean mechanical rooms (pipes, A/C unit, water heater, etc.)

● Sweep, vacuum, mop all rooms, terraces, and closets

● Dust and wipe down hard surfaces, window sills, HVAC vents, and more

● Remove protective coverings and labels from fixtures and surfaces

● Perform other janitorial and maintenance tasks as assigned

Important: Scrubbing cabinets is not allowed due to risk of damage. Any excessive debris must

be reported immediately.

Qualifications:

● Experience: Minimum 1 year of janitorial experience (Required)

● Language: English (Preferred)

● Must be 18 years or older

●Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check conducted after a conditional offer is made

● Must have a working mobile phone with the ability to download and use work-related

apps

● Must be able to use a phone app for completing location reports

● Must have good verbal and written communication skills

● Must be authorized to work in the United States

● Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if

needed

● Must be able to relocate to Sarasota, FL area before starting work (if not already located

there)
