Key Responsibilities
● Package finished metal parts according to customer specifications and company standards
● Inspect parts for cosmetic defects before packaging (scratches, dents, coating damage)
● Select appropriate packaging materials (e.g., foam, wrap, dividers) to prevent damage during transit
● Label packaged products accurately with job tickets, batch info, and customer data ● Prepare shipments by staging boxed materials for outbound transport
● Maintain detailed records of packaged goods and assist with inventory reconciliation
● Coordinate closely with the shipping, quality control, and production teams
● Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of sharp or treated parts
● Keep packaging stations clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
