About Us:

We are a new, dynamic residential treatment center in Knoxville, TN, offering 24/7 care to adults with primary mental health disorders and co-occurring substance use issues. Our program is designed to provide comprehensive, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Position Overview:

We are seeking Licensed Primary Therapists to join our clinical team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy for our residential clients. The Licensed Primary Therapist plays a critical role in treatment team collaboration, client advocacy, and ensuring the highest quality of clinical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and clinical documentation within required timeframes.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide weekly individual therapy sessions and as-needed family sessions.
• Facilitate evidence-based group therapy sessions as assigned.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings with Licensed Primary Therapists.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical documentation in the EMR system.
• Assist with discharge planning and aftercare coordination.
• Uphold clinical and ethical standards in alignment with licensing board requirements and facility policies as a Licensed Primary Therapist.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Required: Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Required: Active, unrestricted Tennessee clinical license:
  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
  • LPC-MHSP (Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation)
  • LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)
• Preferred: CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of post-licensure experience working in mental health and/or substance use treatment, preferably residential or inpatient.
• Strong knowledge of co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed care.
• Experience working with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing preferred.
