Teen Center Coordinator at YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown – Goffstown, New Hampshire

The YMCA Allard Center is looking for a part-time Teen Center Coordinator for our Middle School afterschool program for the 2025 - 2026 school year. We are looking for someone who can enthusiastically lead the staff team with encouragement and creativity. We want someone who will not only think of and implement activities, crafts, games and silly challenges for our young adults, but will also DO it with them! You do not need to be an expert in these activities - but you DO have to be fun. We are seeking a candidate who can provide high quality care for our middle school students grades 5 - 8th.

Under the supervision of the Director of Day Camp & Teen Services your roll will include planning monthly snack and activity calendars, purchases food and supplies according to budget and mentoring both staff and participants. In your role you will facilitate small group activities, modeling and reinforcing our character traits - responsibility, caring, honesty and respect throughout the program as well as provide a safe environment for all the middle school students at The Center.

In addition to the middle school child care program you will also plan and facilitate teen nights 1-2 times per month throughout the school year. Act as primary advisor for our Leaders Club with weekly meetings, facilitating volunteer opportunities, and fundraising. This also includes preparing Leaders for Rallies and attending the Rallies with them. This role will also be able to work with other branch departments to offer additional programs to meet the needs of the branch.

Position Specifics:
Hours; Monday-Friday 1:30-6:00pm *Wednesday Leaders Club 6-7pm and Teen night's Friday's until 9:00p
Schedule subject to change based on program offers and department needs
$16-18/hr based on experience, this is a part-time position approximately 15-25 hours per week

Qualifications:
At least 2-5 years of experience working with youth and/or customer service is preferred. Credits in education, sports management or hospitality are preferred and/or also enrolled in college level courses in any of those majors are welcome.
