Golden Artist Colors is seeking a:

Position Title: Quality Assurance Tech. I - 2nd shift*

Department: Lab

Supervisor: QA Supervisor

Location: New Berlin

*2nd shift works Monday - Thursday 3:15PM to 1:45AM

Responsibilities:

  • Test and monitor physical samples / materials in accordance to quality standards to assure compliance. These include raw materials, batches in process, and finished goods.
  • Document and communicate product status, maintain documentation systems and ensure quality control area is operating in the most efficient manner.
  • Partner with paint making to facilitate the production of quality products.

Requirements:

Education Required:

High School diploma (or equiv.) with additional computer experience.

Experience Desired:

How much:

1-3 years

Type experience:

R&D, QA or paint manufacturing environment.

Summary of Essential Physical Demands:

  1. Frequent standing, sitting.
  2. Occasional lifting of 65lbs to chest level, any 100 lbs lifts will be performed only with assistance from either another employee or by mechanical means.,
  3. Frequent lifting of 50 lbs
  4. Occasional climbing and balancing, stoop, crouch, kneel.
  5. Must be able to wear PPE including respirator, hearing protection, protective clothing.
  6. Must have visual acuity within normal range for color.
