About Aonic
We’re building the modern, healthy PepsiCo - a next-generation functional nutrition platform that makes vibrant wellness effortless for millions of Americans. Health is happiness, and malnutrition remains one of America’s biggest silent crises. Our products - like Aonic Complete (a patent-pending all-in-one supplement) and Aonic Fuel (a clean, high-protein drink with 32g protein, 5g fiber, no artificial sweeteners or lactose) - are rooted in clinical science and designed to fit seamlessly into daily life.
We’re a small, driven team in San Francisco, have raised over $10m to fuel our growth and are serving thousands of subscribers. Now, we have the goal to grow more than 20x in 2026. This role exists to make that possible by building operations that scale flawlessly, keep customers delighted, and turn ambitious growth targets into reality.
Why This Role Matters
As Senior Operations Manager, you’ll own the operational engine that powers our next phase of hyper-growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll translate strategy into execution, build resilient systems, and remove every friction point between our products and our customers. Success here means products arrive on time, costs stay predictable, customers stay happy, and the entire company can move faster because operations simply work.
You’ll have true ownership in a high-trust environment: the autonomy to redesign processes, negotiate with key partners, and build a small, high-performing team - all while shaping how a consumer brand scales from thousands to millions of customers.
What Success Looks Like
  • Scale the end-to-end operation so we can handle 20x volume without sacrificing quality or customer experience - from co-manufacturing and warehousing to logistics and customer support.
  • Build and execute supply chain strategy that drives down costs, secures capacity ahead of demand, and creates a moat through operational excellence.
  • Partner deeply with Growth, Retail, R&D, Finance, and Marketing to align operations with business priorities and deliver measurable improvements (e.g., faster fulfillment, lower churn, higher margins).
  • Strengthen vendor and co-manufacturing partnerships so they exceed SLAs, expand reliably with our growth, and continuously raise the bar on quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement by spotting bottlenecks, implementing AI-powered and low-code solutions, and turning data into decisions that compound efficiency.
  • Grow the operations team by hiring strong talent, providing clear direction and feedback, and creating a culture of ownership and high standards.

Who You Are
Must-Haves
  • 3–8 years in operations leadership, ideally in consumer goods, F&B, beverages, or supplements, with proven impact in fast-growth or scaling environments.
  • Demonstrated success owning supply chain, logistics, co-manufacturing partnerships, and customer operations end-to-end.
  • AI-native mindset with hands-on experience using AI tools and low-code platforms to automate processes and scale efficiently.
  • Analytical rigor: you turn data into insights, forecast accurately, and tie operational decisions to financial outcomes.
  • Exceptional vendor management and negotiation skills - you’ve expanded capacity and improved terms under pressure.
  • High autonomy and judgment: you prioritize ruthlessly, execute independently, and thrive in dynamic, resource-constrained settings.
  • Customer obsession: everything you build starts and ends with making customers happier.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience in subscription or direct-to-consumer models.
  • Passion for preventative health, functional nutrition, or consumer wellness.
  • Strong academic foundation from a top-tier university (typically GPA 3.7+ or equivalent distinction).

You care deeply about our mission and want to build something enduring. You communicate clearly, give and receive direct feedback, and lead by example in a small, high-accountability team.
What We Offer
  • Massive impact and ownership in the early days of a company poised to redefine a category.
  • Clear growth path: This role is designed to evolve into Head of Operations (or broader scope) within 18–24 months as we scale, with potential for people leadership and full departmental responsibility.
  • Competitive compensation: $120–160k base salary, meaningful equity so you share directly in upside, comprehensive medical/vision/dental coverage, 401k matching.
  • Unlimited PTO + federal holidays, plus a beautiful office in Jackson Square with a tight-knit, entrepreneurial team that moves fast, celebrates wins, and supports each other.
  • The chance to help millions of Americans live healthier, happier lives - while building a career-defining company alongside ambitious, world-class colleagues.

If you’re excited to own operations at a company growing 20x and want to turn vision into scalable reality, we’d love to hear from you!
