The Software QA Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of company software platforms, and applications within the IT Operations team. This position focuses on hands-on testing of software solutions, identifying bugs and issues, and providing feedback to ensure products meet both technical requirements and end-user expectations.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans based on system specifications, requirements, and user stories
- Manually test new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across various systems, including the SensibaOne platform, Salesforce, and other integrated platforms
- Perform regression testing on IT applications and platforms to ensure system stability after updates or deployments
Defect Management:
- Identify, document, and track bugs using the designated issue tracking tools (such as Jira or equivalent)
- Work closely with developers, system engineers, and project managers to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve defects
- Participate in root cause analysis and provide suggestions for improvements based on testing outcomes
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Helpdesk, Infrastructure, Data Insights, and Engineering, to ensure alignment on testing processes and objectives
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to contribute to continuous improvement in the testing and development lifecycle
Reporting:
- Produce detailed test reports and present findings to stakeholders
- Ensure thorough documentation of test cases, scenarios, and results to maintain a high standard of QA artifacts for future reference
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing of complex systems and software platforms
- Strong experience in manual testing of complex systems and software platforms
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP solutions, including knowledge of key platforms like Salesforce and Azure/AWS Services
- Proven ability to write and execute detailed test plans and test cases
- Proficient in defect tracking tools and processes
- Excellent communication skills to clearly document and report testing results
- Detail-oriented with a focus on identifying edge cases and scenarios that may impact system functionality or user experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of agile and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with automation testing tools
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation is a plus

Compensation Range: $27.40/hr to $30.77/hr *
