Quality Technician - 1st Shift

Position Summary:
Our Quality Technicians are responsible for monitoring the quality control system to ensure defect-free products are manufactured. They perform inspections and testing to uphold quality standards set by the company, customers, industry, and regulatory requirements, while also maintaining and updating all related quality records.
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:- Engage in inspection and testing activities to verify technical and quality assurance
- Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality
- Maintain various quality records involving customer care tickets, nonconforming products, and return authorizations, etc.
- Conduct internal quality audits to minimize, eliminate, and prevent nonconformity products
- Assist manufacturing personnel with the development of production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs
- Analyze and review product data reports
- Document and maintain quality control standards throughout various stages of production cycle
- Assist with the implementation of inspection criteria and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- High School Diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma), 2 year degree preferred
- Quality control experience or equivalent training preferred
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently
- Proficient in analyzing and resolving problems
- Ability to work effectively with various departments and team member
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Strong organizational skills with strict attention to detail
- Strong basic math skills
- Must be available to work 7am - 3:30pm.
