Medical Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking a medical assistant for Tri State Internal Medicine. This is a busy Internal Medicine clinic at WK North campus. We are looking for an MA who demonstrates a great work ethic, dependability, and ability to work in a team approach. The job responsibilities will include, but not limited to: assessment of patients utilizing a systematic approach. Medication management to include medication reconciliation, administration and maintenance. Scheduling tests and procedures, and preauthorizations with insurance companies. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends and holidays are required. An orientation will be provided based on your experience.
