  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI, Product Analytics, Finance, and Engineering to translate business objectives into a measurable data roadmap
  • Make strategic buy-versus-build decisions for the data stack, evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure high ROI for platform initiatives

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience working with data, including 5+ years architecting and operating Snowflake at scale and 2+ years of hands-on software engineering
  • Proven expertise in data storage, change-data-capture (CDC) pipelines, database and BI architecture, and modern data orchestration patterns (Airflow/Dagster)
  • Track record of building secure, privacy-aware, and compliant data platforms (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001; FedRAMP experience a plus)
  • 4+ years managing and developing data engineers and analytics engineers, comfortable leading a 5-6 person team with plans to scale
  • Hands-on proficiency with the modern data stack: Snowflake, dbt, Airflow/Dagster, Fivetran/Stitch, Looker/Mode/Sigma
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate complex technical details for executive and cross-functional audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus
  • System-oriented mindset with a focus on automation, maintainable code, and sustainable architecture

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and equity packages
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with most employee-only premiums fully covered
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave for all new parents
  • Health and wellness stipends, remote workspace, internet, and cellphone stipends
  • Commuter benefits for applicable office locations
  • Family planning benefits and matching 401(k) contributions with immediate vesting
  • Flexible PTO policy, 80 hours of sick time, and 11 company-paid holidays
  • Virtual team-building activities, lunch and learns, and global company events
