Maintenance Technician Lead Proactive Facility Care for Industrial and Commercial Properties

You will serve as a vital member of a small, effective team dedicated to the seamless operation of industrial and commercial facilities. This role empowers you to take ownership of property health by proactively identifying issues before they escalate. Your expertise will directly impact tenant satisfaction and the long-term value of our diverse property portfolio.

• Execute comprehensive repairs across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems to ensure peak building functionality.

• Monitor property conditions through proactive daily walk-throughs to identify and resolve maintenance needs independently.

• Manage a digital maintenance ticketing system to track, prioritize, and document all completed service requests.

• Perform rigorous preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and lighting to reduce future equipment failures and costs.

• Coordinate with specialized external vendors for complex mechanical repairs to maintain strict safety and quality standards.

• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed to ensure project transparency and budget alignment.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general maintenance or handyman work, specifically within a commercial environment.

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

• Strong proficiency in time management and organizational skills necessary for handling a high volume of maintenance tickets.

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to navigate between various onsite project locations.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks in an industrial setting.

• Possession of mechanical certifications or specialized training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems.

• Demonstrated experience working directly with commercial property management companies and professional tenants.

• Advanced knowledge of industrial facility standards and specialized commercial installations.
