About the Role:

The Warehouse Admin plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse activities within the manufacturing sector. This position is responsible for managing inventory records, coordinating shipments, and supporting warehouse staff to maintain accurate and timely processing of goods. The role requires close collaboration with procurement, logistics, and production teams to align warehouse operations with overall manufacturing schedules. The Warehouse Admin ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies while optimizing storage and distribution processes. Ultimately, this position contributes to minimizing downtime and enhancing supply chain efficiency by maintaining organized and accurate warehouse administration.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in warehouse administration or inventory management.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate detailed operational reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update inventory databases to ensure accurate stock levels and locations.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling and documentation.
  • Support warehouse staff by managing daily administrative tasks such as order processing and record keeping.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor compliance with safety standards and company policies within the warehouse environment.
  • Prepare reports on inventory status, shipment activities, and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Assist in the implementation of warehouse process improvements and technology upgrades.
