Staff Occupational Therapist at Southeastern Health – Lumberton, North Carolina

POSITION SUMMARY

• Evaluates, plans and implements specific treatment programs to meet identified patient needs, with an emphasis on daily living skills. Provides occupational therapy to patients in the hospital, outpatient clinic, nursing home or through contract work under Health Horizons Home Care program. Performs in accordance with standards of Occupational Therapy practice that are ethical and legal in North Carolina.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited program for Occupational Therapists.

  • Current North Carolina license or license eligible.

  • BCLS certification; recertification required annually.

  • May require valid NC Driver's license and access to use of an automobile.

• Preferred:

  • Experienced Occupational Therapist with Master's Degree and/or specialty certification.
