Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and building operations to the business of Straumann CADCAM Production. It handles the day-to-day evaluation of operating conditions of the production facility and equipment, coordinates required maintenance, performs analysis of equipment status needed to avoid unplanned down time.

Essential Functions and Duties:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Performs preventative maintenance repairs on facilities and building according to Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO compliance

• Participates in installation of manufacturing equipment

• May be required to disassemble, assemble, and adjust equipment according to established plans, manuals, blueprints, or drawings and makes updates to documents as required

• Keep records of equipment performance and problems according to GMP/ISO requirements

• Document building and facilities maintenance repair and locates local vendors

Non-essential Functions and Duties:

Other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• 3+ years of experience in facility and building operations and maintenance

• Experience with application of hand tools and basic electrical tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• General communication and organization skills

• Knowledge of various building and facilities operations and building systems

• General knowledge of the tools, methods, and practices used in electrical/mechanical repair and building operations

Physical Attributes:

• Observe and hear warning signs and signals within all areas of the company.

• Stand, Walk, or Sit up to 8 hours a day (with periodic breaks allowed)

• Occasionally push/pull up to 50

• Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs

• Wear synthetic gloves for hygiene

• Wear protective eye

• Wear protective hearing

• Wear toe protection/safety shoes

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment

• The employee is expected to operate machinery with moving parts

• The employee may occasionally be exposed to dust

• Based on station assignment, the employee may be exposed to water, heat, cured resins, soap and disinfectants

• The noise level in the work environment is consistently moderate

• The employee will work in a fast-paced, team environment
