Machine Operator at J&O Plastics Inc. – Rittman, Ohio

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operating a wide range of machinery equipment
• Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications
• Assemble boxes for filling with finished product
• Seal, label and palletize finished product
• Ability to work with hand tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure a positive work environment to achieve total customer satisfaction
• Must be reliable and maintain open communication with management to achieve all goals and production requirements
• Maintaining a clean, neat and organized work areas
• Utilize equipment to receive and complete product movement requests
• Follow regulations, safety guidelines, and company procedures at all times
• Working overtime when necessary. Overtime is a condition of employment

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills·
• Ability to build professional, internal relationships
• Able to follow standard work regulations
• ·Must be able to work in a hot non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment·
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment a plus
• Basic Math Skills
• Excellent attendance and punctuality is required.
• You must be able to stand on your feet for an 8-hour shift in a seasonally changing warehouse environment
• Bending, lifting and kneeling

Experience:

One year of manufacturing experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate!
