REGISTERED NURSE at CalvertHealth – Prince Frederick, Maryland

To asses, plan, implement the nursing care to meet the patients' needs, by following the appropriate policy and procedures of the assigned department.

Position requires an associate's degree (AA) or diploma program.

Registered Nurse State Licensure

Successful completion of Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course required.

Maintain unit specific and hospital competencies in accordance with policy requirements.

Position requires 2 -3 years of clinical experience.

Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

Current ONS/ONCC Chemo/Bio Therapy Preferred.

Provides 1:1 care to Infusion In-Patient population when needed.

Must have a current cancer specific certification by an accredited certification program or ongoing education by earning 12 cancer related continuing education nursing contact hours each year for a total of 36 CEU’s per accreditation cycle (3 years).
