In this role, you will take full ownership of identifying, fixing, and continuously improving accessibility across multiple digital product experiences. You will work directly in the production codebase to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards while enhancing usability for all users. This is a hands-on engineering position where you will not only detect accessibility issues but also implement robust, scalable code-level solutions. Operating in a fast-paced, AI-driven development environment, you will leverage modern tools to accelerate testing and remediation. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to embed accessibility into every stage of development. This role offers high ownership, rapid iteration cycles, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on user experience at scale.
- Continuously identify accessibility issues across multiple product experiences using automated tools, screen readers, and keyboard navigation testing
- Fix accessibility issues directly in the production codebase, including semantic HTML, ARIA attributes, focus management, and color contrast improvements
- Ensure all products meet WCAG 2.1 AA compliance standards through ongoing testing and remediation
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate detection and resolution of accessibility issues at scale
- Support accessibility integration for new features and products as they are released
- Maintain and improve keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility across all interfaces
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed accessibility best practices into development workflows
- Contribute to maintaining continuous accessibility readiness aligned with annual compliance audits
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in accessibility testing and remediation (not audit-only roles)
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
- Strong frontend development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including ARIA and semantic markup
- Experience using accessibility testing tools such as axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, or Pa11y
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar)
- Ability to work directly in production codebases and ship fixes independently
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
