POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for turning partnerships, cultural moments, and experiences into powerful brand and business growth drivers.
The Director of Partnerships & Event Marketing leads the strategy, development, and execution of Burn’s partnerships, Brand Champion Program, public relations, and events ensuring every activation builds brand equity, expands reach, and drives measurable impact across the funnel.
This leader connects brand storytelling to real-world and cultural experiences, creating moments that elevate awareness, credibility, and community while supporting franchise development and member growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnerships Strategy & Development
- Lead the strategy and execution of all brand partnerships, including celebrity, athlete, influencer, and brand collaborations
- Identifyand secure high-impact partnerships that align with Burn’s mission and growth goals
- Build scalable partnership frameworks across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 relationships
- Ensure all partnerships deliver against clear KPIs (awareness, leads, conversions, brand equity)
Brand Champion Program
- Own and evolve the Brand Champion Program, including recruitment, relationship management, and activation strategy
- Oversee contracts, deliverables, and performance tracking
- Ensure authenticity and alignment with Burn’s brand voice and community
Public Relations & Earned Media
- Lead PR strategy and agency management to drive national and local media coverage
- Develop compelling narratives that position Burn as a leader inhealth,fitnessandfranchising
- Identifyand secure media opportunities for founders, executives, and key brand moments
Event Marketing & Experiences
- Own strategy and execution for all brand and system events (Summit, Athlete Games, franchise events, PR activations, etc.)
- Develop experiential marketing moments that drive engagement, content creation, and brand awareness
- Ensure events are fully integrated into marketing campaigns and partnership strategies
Cross-Functional Integration
- Partner with Brand Director to ensure partnerships and events align with brand storytelling and creative direction
- Partner with Performance MarketingDirectorto amplify partnerships and events across paid and owned channels
- Collaborate with Franchise Development toleveragepartnerships and events for lead generation and growth
Measurement & Performance
- Define and track KPIs across partnerships, PR, and events
- Evaluate ROI andoptimizefuture investments based on performance data
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop Partnerships & PR Manager and Events team
- Build processes and playbooks to scale partnerships and event execution

QUALIFICATIONS
- 7–10 years in partnerships, PR, experiential, or brand marketing
- Proven experience managing high-profile partnerships and events
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and storytelling skills
- Experience tying partnerships and events to measurable business outcomes
- Cross-functional leadership experience
- Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Passion for fitness, health, and community
- Franchising experience a plus
- Occasional travel as needed, <15%
