Wild Finch, located within The Springs Resort, is seeking a skilled and guest-focused Part-Time Bartender to join our team in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Wild Finch blends regional Colorado ingredients with global inspiration to create a dining experience that feels both familiar and unexpected.At The Springs Resort, our purpose is centered on enhancing the wellbeing of every guest. Our beverage program plays an important role in that experience—offering thoughtfully crafted cocktails, curated wines, and regional selections that complement relaxation, connection, and enjoyment.This role is ideal for someone who understands that great bartending goes beyond the drink—it's about creating moments that support each guest's overall sense of comfort, care, and elevated experience.Your Future CareerBeverage Preparation & Execution

Schedule:

Sunday and Monday 3pm/4pm - 10pm and other days as needed if full time bartender needs time off.

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, consistency, and attention to presentation
  • Follow established recipes while contributing to a high-quality, wellness-minded beverage experience
  • Maintain accuracy in portioning to support cost control and operational excellence
  • Monitor bar inventory and communicate supply needs

Guest Experience & Wellbeing

  • Create a welcoming, engaging bar environment that supports relaxation and connection
  • Provide attentive, personalized service—including food service to bar guests—that enhances each guest's overall resort experience
  • Educate guests on cocktail ingredients, wine selections, and seasonal offerings
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond thoughtfully to questions or concerns
  • Contribute to an atmosphere that reflects care, calm, and elevated hospitality

Operational & Compliance Responsibilities

  • Execute full bar opening procedures including prep, stocking, and station setup
  • Maintain bar cleanliness and organization throughout service
  • Complete all assigned side work accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure proper closing procedures including breakdown, cleaning, and restocking
  • Follow all state and local alcohol service laws and company policies
  • Accurately process payments and maintain proper cash handling procedures
  • Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness practices

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with servers, culinary team members, and leadership
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and ongoing training
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and service-driven team culture aligned with resort values
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcohol per Springs Resort policy
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
  • Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine service, and responsible alcohol service practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak operational periods

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds (e.g., kegs, cases of beverages)
  • Ability to work in a high-energy restaurant environment with moderate to high noise levels
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
