Supply Chain Manager
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations CLASSIFICATION: Full Time/Exempt
Location
Parma, Ohio – onsite daily, NOT virtual, NOT hybrid. Limited travel may be requires to local warehouses.
OVERVIEW
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, planning, and execution of all supply chain functions within Ei6 at the Parma location for both the powders and the machining businesses. This role ensures that procurement, inventory management, logistics, vendor relationships, and material flow processes operate with the highest standards of efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership, including production, finance, customer service, quality, sales and engineering to support operational performance, cost optimization, and overall organizational objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive supply chain strategies that support Ei6’s operational goals and long-term business growth.
· Oversee demand forecasting, production planning, and materials availability to ensure continuity of operations and on-time fulfillment.
· Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and performance standards for all supply chain activities.
· Lead and manage the Logistics Team
· Working with the Quality Department, manage vendor performance through measurable KPIs, scheduled evaluations, and corrective action initiatives when necessary.
· Oversee and coordinate all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory control.
· Ensure inventory accuracy through effective cycle count programs, auditing, and system controls.
· Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance cost management with operational readiness, including cycle counting
· Analyze supply chain data, trends, and KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
· Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
· Participate in forecasting processes and lead material allocations processes.
· Ensure compliance with all internal controls, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to AS9100/ISO9001.
· Collaborate with Operations, Production, Engineering, Finance, and Quality teams to support business planning, product launches, and operational changes.
· Communicate supply chain performance metrics, risks, and action plans to senior leadership.
· Support budgeting and financial forecasting related to materials, logistics, and supply chain operations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations.
· Demonstrated proficiency with technical supply chain ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
· Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Multilingual with Portuguese is a plus.
