Student Worker- Property Supply Specialist at Dynamic Educational Systems, Inc. – Dayton, Ohio

Position Description

Summary

Reports to the Property Specialist/Manager. Responsible for supporting the Property Specialist or Manager

in performing various government equipment and merchandise handling duties in the warehouse and

across the Job Corps campus. Ensures proper inventory and property control as deemed by the Property

Specialist or Manager.

Essential Functions

1. May assist the Property Specialist/Manager with quarterly and annual physical inventory of all

center equipment and reconciliation of the inventory to property records.

2. May assist in compiling all information obtained from physical inventories and aids in preparing

property data transmittal sheets to update and correct property listing and to maintain proper

accountability.

3. Aids the Property Specialist or Manager in retrieving and organizing any surplus property on center

to ensure it is properly reported to customers; assists the Property Specialist or Manager with the

property screening activities with other government agencies, Job Corps centers, and Government

Services Administration (GSA).

4. Assists in storage of all expendable and non-expendables.

5. Assists the Property Specialist/Manager in preparing and moving equipment that is to be moved

per completed Property Hand Receipts.

6. Assists with property retrievals.

7. May assist with preparing items for shipment out of the warehouse.

8. May perform data entry as it relates to government furnished equipment and expendables moving

in and out of the warehouse.

9. Assist with issuing and delivering inventory supplies including Office and Janitorial.

10. Assist with issuing Student Uniforms.

11. Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate employability skills, including personal

responsibility and computer fluency.

12. Adheres to safety practices.

Requirements

Required Education & Experience

• Must have HSD/HSE.

• Must have a TABE scores of at least 536 Reading and 537 Math.

• Must have completed at minimum 60% of Career Technical Training.
