About This Position
Program Assistant (Part-Time)
Organization: Treasure Coast Girls Coalition (TCGC)
Location: Sebastian, FL
Schedule: 20–25 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Reports To: Program Lead / Executive Director
Position Summary
The Program Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of TCGC programming by assisting with activity preparation, student engagement logistics, light facility upkeep, and administrative support. This role is ideal for a dependable, organized individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, youth-focused environment and is comfortable handling a variety of support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Program Support
- Prepare materials and spaces for afternoon program activities
- Assist with snack distribution to students
- Take and maintain accurate daily attendance records
- Provide general support during program activities as needed
Administrative Support
- Assist with data entry and record-keeping using Google Workspace
- Support program documentation and reporting efforts
- Coordinate with Program Lead and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Facilities & Maintenance Support
- Sweep and/or vacuum program areas as needed
- Take out trash at the end of each shift
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for participants
Errands & Transportation
- Perform light errands including:
- Picking up orders from Sam’s Club, Walmart, or similar vendors
- Completing post office runs (approximately 2 times per week)
- Provide local transportation support as needed for program-related activities
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- Experience working in youth programs, nonprofits, or administrative support roles is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information
- This is a part-time, non-exempt position
- Schedule may vary based on program needs (afternoons preferred)
- Background check may be required due to working with minors
