About This Position
Care Center Cincinnati is seeking a Rehab Support Assistant to join our Integrative Medicine/Rehabilitation team. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals passionate about animal care and interested in growing within veterinary medicine.
This role plays an important part in supporting our rehabilitation patients by assisting with daily care, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and helping ensure a smooth workflow for both patients and the clinical team.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Tuesday - Friday, 8am-6pm
- Hourly pay range $15-20, depending on experience
What You’ll Do:
· Assist with the daily care and handling of rehabilitation patients
· Support basic therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
· Help safely transport patients within the hospital
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of rehab spaces and equipment
· Prepare and reset treatment areas between patients
· Assist with laundry, stocking, and general department upkeep
· Provide compassionate, low-stress handling for all patients
What We’re Looking For:
· Passion for working with animals and interest in veterinary medicine
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· Strong attention to detail and reliability
· Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes
· Ability to lift/move patients as needed (with assistance when appropriate)
