This role offers the opportunity to be a key technical advisor in a high-growth, cloud security environment, bridging complex enterprise needs with innovative software solutions. You will lead technical discovery, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and manage end-to-end proof-of-concept engagements for multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures. The position requires collaboration with sales, engineering, and product teams to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions and ensure customer success. You will drive adoption of advanced privileged access and identity management solutions while providing insights that inform product and go-to-market strategies. This is a hands-on, consultative role with direct impact on customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships. Strong technical acumen, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup culture are essential.
- Lead technical discovery calls to assess prospect environments, identify security gaps, and determine product fit
- Deliver compelling standard and custom product demonstrations for multi-cloud architectures, IdP integrations, and DevOps workflows
- Own and execute Proof-of-Concept (POC) engagements end-to-end, defining success criteria and driving technical wins
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to remove technical blockers and respond to RFPs and security questionnaires
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to relay field feedback and maintain deep platform knowledge
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customers, ensuring value realization and identifying renewal or upsell opportunities
- Gather competitive intelligence and market feedback to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategies
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar pre-sales technical role for a B2B software company
- Hands-on experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM), including at least one enterprise IdP (Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Ping Identity)
- Strong technical consultative selling skills and experience managing complex enterprise evaluations
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (Python, Java, Shell) and working with REST APIs
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, or GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of Zero Trust, least-privilege access models, and cloud security frameworks
- Prior experience in early-stage or high-growth technology companies
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with technical and executive audiences
- Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement tools (Salesforce, Clari, Gong)
- Willingness to travel and collaborate globally across geographies and cultures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments
- Scripting proficiency in PowerShell or Bash for automation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR tools (Splunk, Datadog) and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira)
- Experience with secrets management solutions (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault)
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001, or SOX
