Technician is responsible for the preparation of patient, preparation of equipment used in procedures, and assisting physicians with neurological testing. Responsible for supplies. Attention to details for short periods of time. Records numerical values for physicians during testing. Transports patients and files records as assigned. Performs ENG testing, EEG testing. Assists physician in EMG/NCV studies. Must demonstrate tact, patience, manual dexterity, and the capacity to deal with visual and electrical concepts. Types reports and fills out DME forms for Sleep Disorder Center. Registers patients for department. Assists with Sleep Clinic when needed.
