Overview

CLEARVIEW, A Panasonic Company, is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Architect to lead the architecture, design, and evolution of mission-critical mobile applications supporting users of our restaurant management solution. This role will define mobile standards and technical direction across our product portfolio, ensuring our applications are secure, scalable, and aligned with CLEARVIEW’s practices.

The Mobile Architect will work closely with leadership, product management, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the mobile architecture strategy, standards, and roadmap across CLEARVIEW mobile products.
• Architect and guide development of secure, enterprise-grade mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to mobile development teams.
• Collaborate with backend and cloud teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based and on-premise systems.
• Establish and promote best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and secure mobile development.
• Lead architecture reviews, design sessions, and technical evaluations of tools and frameworks.
• Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, and security requirements, especially in mission-critical environments.
• Support modernization initiatives, including cross-platform strategies and platform consolidation.
• Participate in long-term technology planning aligned with CLEARVIEW’s enterprise architecture standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including significant mobile application development experience.
• Proven experience designing and delivering production mobile applications at scale.
• Experience with:
  • iOS development (Swift)
  • Android development (Kotlin / Java)
  • Mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, authentication systems, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, or similar).
• Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile security, data protection, and enterprise deployment practices.

Assets (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Flutter and Dart for cross-platform mobile development
• Experience in enterprise, public safety, or mission-critical software environments
• Experience with Azure cloud services, microservices, and containerized backends
• Experience supporting ruggedized mobile devices or field-based applications
• Previous experience in a technical leadership or architect role
