This role is designed for a hands-on data leader who thrives on transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You will lead the end-to-end management of data pipelines, integration, transformation, and visualization to support business operations and product development. The position offers the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders across product, content, marketing, and analytics teams, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. You will build scalable pipelines, develop dashboards, and translate complex datasets into clear, actionable stories for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows to automate ingestion from multiple sources such as APIs, Google Sheets, and internal systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all platforms and datasets.
• Perform exploratory, descriptive, and diagnostic analyses to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations in tools like Looker Studio or Tableau to support business and product decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders to define key business metrics, KPIs, and create systems for tracking performance at daily, weekly, and monthly intervals.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, content, marketing, and analytics teams to improve data-driven strategies and solutions.

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics, ideally within an education or mission-driven environment.
• Strong SQL expertise and proficiency in at least one dynamic language such as Python or R.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques (e.g., multiple regression, hypothesis testing) and machine learning methods (e.g., clustering, decision trees).
• Experience with end-to-end analytics workflows, including data modeling, BI tools, and cloud data platforms like BigQuery.
• Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex insights to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset and experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
