Biomedical Technician at Aspen Medical – De Soto, Iowa

Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for Técnico biomédico to partner with us in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers at a field hospital in Port Au Prince, Haiti. This will be a deployed, rotational contract offering various rotational deployment cycles.
The team will be based in a secure, purpose-built camp and hospital facility in Port au Prince, Haiti, and all service delivery requirements will be conducted within the confines of that facility.
Aspen Medical will provide a Level 2 Field Hospital with EMS, Pre-Hospital Care, Surgical, Diagnostic and Laboratory, and other ancillary services.
Qualification Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of theoretical and practical education relating to the special technician field after high school education
• Relevant certifications of training

Language Proficiency:

• English proficiency-a minimum of Level B 2 is required

This position will be as a contractor, with a fixed daily rate while on rotation. You will not receive pay while off rotation.
