Position Title: Key Account Specialist
Department: Sales
Reports To: VP of Sales and Operations
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Nocatee, FL (On-site)

Position Summary

The Key Account Specialist – Retail & Digital Commerce is an entry-level position designed for a motivated, organized, and analytically minded individual interested in building a career in retail sales, ecommerce, and consumer products. This role supports national retail accounts across both brick-and-mortar and ecommerce channels by assisting with customer communication, item setup, reporting, digital content coordination, promotional execution, and cross-functional project management.

The position provides hands-on exposure to retail account management, ecommerce operations, digital merchandising, product launches, and customer-facing business activities. It is structured to develop future account management and sales leadership talent within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Retail Account Support

  • Support day-to-day activities for assigned national retail accounts.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, sales materials, pricing files, and customer meeting documents.
  • Coordinate customer follow-ups, sample requests, and internal action items.
  • Help support promotional setup and retailer program execution.
  • Ecommerce & Digital Commerce Support

  • Assist with ecommerce item setup and maintenance across retailer platforms such as Walmart.com, Amazon, Marketplace, and DSV.
  • Help coordinate product content including titles, attributes, images, and product specifications.
  • Support digital product launches and monitor item setup accuracy.
  • Track basic ecommerce performance metrics including traffic, conversion, ratings/reviews, and sales trends.
  • CrossFunctional Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Ecommerce, Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support customer initiatives.
  • Help coordinate timelines and follow-up actions related to product launches, item setup, packaging updates, and retailer deadlines.
  • Communicate retailer updates and requirements internally to support execution readiness.
  • Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and performance summaries.
  • Assist with tracking sales trends, inventory levels, assortment changes, and promotional results.
  • Help maintain customer and product data within internal systems and retailer portals.
  • Support forecasting and replenishment activities through data gathering and reporting.
  • Product & Market Support

  • Assist with competitive analysis, ecommerce research, and category trend monitoring.
  • Support new product development efforts through sample coordination and product information gathering.
  • Help identify opportunities for assortment expansion and ecommerce growth.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting and item setup
  • Successful support of ecommerce and retail launches
  • Quality and organization of customer materials
  • Cross-functional coordination and follow-through
  • Responsiveness to retailer and internal requests
  • Contribution to retail and ecommerce execution
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Internship or prior experience in retail, ecommerce, sales, marketing, analytics, or consumer products is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn retail sales, ecommerce, and consumer products business operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, retailer portals, or CRM systems is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to travel periodically as needed.
  • Working Conditions

    Office-based position located in Nocatee, FL

    Requires periodic travel for customer meetings and events.

    Position Classification

    This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
