About the role

  • As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for assisting the Acquisitions Manager with pickups and efficiently handling inventory and shipments. Your duties include assisting pickups, receiving, loading and unloading items, organizing, inspecting, and storing incoming items, and preparing and shipping outgoing orders. Your attention to detail and organizing skills will be crucial for ensuring the efficiency and smooth operation of warehouse processes.

What you'll do

  • Assisting the Acquisitions Manager with pickups by coordinating schedules and managing documentation of inventory.
  • Verify and document received items against purchase orders using ERP NetSuite and handheld scanners.
  • Safely and efficiently unload medical devices and other products from delivery trucks.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Conduct basic functional testing of medical devices to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Record test results and report any issues or discrepancies.
  • Organize and store received items in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and update records in NetSuite.
  • Accurately pick items for orders, pack them securely, and prepare for shipping.
  • Print and affix shipping labels using handheld scanners and NetSuite.
  • Process orders for shipment, ensuring all documentation and labeling are correct.
  • Safely load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Physical fitness for lifting and moving items.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 75 pounds may be required.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the warehouse.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Handling small tools and equipment for testing and packaging.
  • Operating handheld scanners and other electronic devices.
  • Pushing and pulling carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Occasional use of ladders or step stools to access high shelves.
  • Good vision for reading labels, scanning barcodes, and inspecting items.
  • Ability to hear and respond to safety signals and instructions.

Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm

Pay: $20-22/hour
