Physician Assistant - Urgent Care (Batavia) at Rochester Regional Health – BATAVIA, New York

Deliver comprehensive urgent care services, including evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients, while collaborating with the care team as needed. This role will require working at urgent care locations in Rochester as well.

STATUS: Full-Time (36 hours/week)

LOCATION: Batavia; Rochester locations

DEPARTMENT: Urgent Care

SCHEDULE: Days/Evenings (Monday - Friday, Weekends)

PAY TRANSPARENCY

In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices. This may include: productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patient Satisfaction. Interacts on a frequent, regular and daily basis with patients, family members, medical/social/public services support, regulatory agencies and/or payor agencies. Interaction and communication requires expressed empathy, understanding, problem-solving, education, information gathering, process influencing and counseling.

• Medication & Orders. Prescribes drugs, devices and immunizing agents according to policy and practice agreement.

• Collaboration. Performs therapeutic and corrective measures within area of expertise in collaboration with other health team members.
