DeGennaro Construction LLC is seeking a skilled Working Foreman / Lead Carpenter to oversee and actively participate in daily field operations on residential and commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional who can lead by example, manage crews, and deliver high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining safety, organization, and communication across job sites.
- Lead and participate in daily field crew operations
- Assign and oversee daily tasks and weekly schedules
- Monitor attendance, time tracking, and jobsite documentation using field apps
- Maintain consistent communication with office staff and management
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction execution
- Submit daily progress updates, photos, and material needs
- Ensure jobsite cleanliness, safety, and OSHA compliance
- Maintain organized, stocked work vehicles and tools
- Foster a respectful, professional, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
3+ years of carpentry and/or construction leadership experience preferred
Strong hands-on carpentry skills with leadership capability
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Strong communication and organizational skills
No specific certifications required
Consistent, full-time work
