Podium Representative / Rate Field

General Responsibilities:

Embody the mission, values and common purpose of the SOXtraordinary Squad who represent the Chicago White Sox. Provide each guest with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment to view events at Rate Field through knowledge of available guest services and facility familiarization.

• This position requires the ability to lift 10lbs without assistance; the use of both hands for reaching, pulling and lifting; stooping, kneeling, walking up & down stairs, are also required for this position

• Knowledgeable in facility services and physical layout
• Team members are expected to fully perform all essential functions of the job

Specific Duties:

• Maintain a fun, friendly, professional, and safe environment in assigned suites
• Ensure guests’ needs are met during their visit to the ballpark
• Deliver outstanding customer service under a variety of circumstances
• Monitor safety rules and regulations (alcohol service, unruly behavior, maintenance issues and suite capacity)
• Provide accurate information and directions to the various areas in the ballpark
• Document incidents and notify supervisors regarding issues that may require further attention
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have at least 2 years of Customer Service Experience
• Must be available to work evening and weekend hours
• Must be available for at least 80% of the events at Rate Field
• Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 5 hours
• Must be punctual and able to comply with attendance standards

Additional Information:

• Pay Rate = $19.00hr
• The individual may also be required to lift up to 10 pounds
