J&E Plumbing and Heating of LI is seeking a skilled Junior Plumbing Mechanic with 4+ years of hands-on experience to join our growing team in Baldwin, NY. As we celebrate 10 years of service across Long Island, were entering an exciting new chapterexpanding into our newly purchased facility and scaling up operations. In this role, you'll be a key member of our plumbing team, supporting residential and commercial projects, including work with over 10 local builders and direct-to-consumer clients. • Support plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance across residential and commercial sites

• Apply knowledge of local plumbing codes and practices to real-world applications

• Hang and secure piping systems, sweat joints, install fixtures, and handle rough-in work

• Follow direction from senior mechanics and supervisors to complete work to code and company standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Load/unload tools and materials and ensure trucks are stocked properly

• Represent the company with professionalism when interacting with clients

• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project timelines

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on plumbing experience

• Familiarity with local plumbing codes and on-the-job applications

• Strong technical understanding of fittings, piping systems, fixture installation, and service work

• Solid communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

• Clean, safe driving record (valid driver's license preferred)

• Strong work ethic and ambition to grow within the company

• Willingness to travel to various job sites across Long Island

• Professional appearance and respectful bedside manner when working in customer homes

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

• Pay: $22$28 per hour based on experience

• Schedule: Weekly pay with potential for overtime
