Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and vehicles in a timely fashion.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines.
• Accurately and legibly completes service records detailing work performed, problems found, in service and repair.
• Inspect and test diesel engines to identify any potential problems.
• Repair or replace faulty parts, such as fuel injectors, gaskets, or transmission.
• Diagnosis eletronic & eletrical problems and perform correct a n repairs
• Fabricate or modify parts as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic equipment and systems

Experience:

• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with diesel engines.
• Experience with fabricating or modifying parts is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Welding experience preferred
• Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
• Knowledge of California's Clean Truck Check Program, Air Brake and Air Systems.

Pay: $50 -$53

per hour (negotiable

with experience)
