Position Summary

As a Floor Manager at Moneygun, you lead the team during service and help curate the energy and vibe throughout the shift. As a core member of the onsite management team, you serve as a role model for the entire staff and help set the tone for how the floor operates. Your focus will be on supporting the team during service while upholding cleanliness, service standards, teamwork, and, most importantly, genuine hospitality. You are well-versed in the duties of all front-of-house positions and lead by example, gaining the trust and respect of each team member through your consistency, professionalism, dependability, accountability, and clear communication.

Additional Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
  • Ensure all steps of service are executed consistently at the highest possible level every shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization across FOH and service areas.
  • Expected to work 4–5 Manager on Duty shifts per week, with the potential for administrative shifts as needed.
  • Set the vibe of the room, including music, lighting, and overall atmosphere.
  • Lead organized and effective pre-shift meetings.
  • Provide mentorship when possible and clear direction when necessary to keep the team on task and improve skills.
  • Support the team during service as needed, including running drinks, running food, and marking tables for upcoming courses.
  • Assist with updating and ensuring opening, closing, and sidework checklists are completed.
  • Maintain floor plan fluidity, including thoughtful placement of VIPs, regulars, and returning guests to create memorable experiences.
  • Assist with cuts on the floor and general flow of service.
  • Monitor guest interactions and intoxication levels, stepping in to de-escalate situations when needed.
  • Document events or guest issues, especially if police are involved, and enter notes in the manager log at the end of each shift.
  • Work alongside the Programming & Events team and managers to help facilitate events and activations.
  • Partner with the GM to become familiar with scheduling procedures, cash handling, event planning, and partnership procurement.
  • Utilize Toast POS functions including voids, comps, gratuity adjustments, employee discounts, button creation, and 86ing items.
  • Maintain familiarity with Google Drive and assist with monthly inventory spreadsheet counts.
  • Touch tables to address guest needs and quick-fix issues.
  • Help ensure all guests and coworkers are treated equally and welcomed in our spaces.
  • Create “surprise and delight” moments that encourage guests to return.
Requirements:

About You

  • You have at least 1 year of supervisory experience or several years of experience working in a busy, fast-paced bar or restaurant environment.
  • You are comfortable leading the floor during service and helping guide the team through high-volume shifts.
  • You have a strong understanding of front-of-house roles and the flow of service, and you are willing to step in wherever needed to support the team.
  • You lead by example and help set the tone for professionalism, teamwork, and genuine hospitality.
  • You communicate clearly with both guests and coworkers and are comfortable giving direction when needed.
  • You stay aware of what is happening on the floor and are comfortable stepping in to help resolve guest issues or de-escalate situations.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS and Google Drive is helpful but not required.
  • You are available to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the needs of the business.
  • This role requires extended periods of standing and walking, as well as the ability to occasionally move items as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Position Details & Benefits
  • Job Type: Full-time, Hourly
  • Compensation: $30 - 35 per hour
