National Account Manager

This role offers the opportunity to lead and grow national-level sales relationships within the agricultural sector, directly influencing market expansion and revenue growth. You will manage key distribution accounts across the US, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering on sales objectives. As part of the Commercial Leadership Team, youll collaborate closely with internal teams to align go-to-market strategies and provide insights from the field. This is a highly visible, impact-driven position that combines relationship-building, strategic planning, and market expertise. Travel across the US is required to nurture strong partnerships and implement business plans.
Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute distribution strategies and Large Account Management Plans that align customer needs with company objectives.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key decision-makers within assigned national and regional distributor accounts.
  • Translate national and regional sales strategies to internal teams, including regional sales leaders, account managers, and technical agronomists.
  • Provide creative, data-driven insights to identify market opportunities, expand market share, and support business growth.
  • Coordinate EDI reporting, forecasting, and account communications to ensure timely execution of sales plans.
  • Travel to key account offices across the US to collaborate, network, and plan strategically.
  • Work cross-functionally to support overall organizational culture, business initiatives, and customer success.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the US agricultural sector, with extensive field and account management experience.
  • Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with key accounts, particularly distributors.
  • Strong experience launching new products and technologies into the marketplace.
  • Knowledge of liquid fertilizers, biologicals, and emerging precision agriculture technologies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets, forecasts, and ROI analyses.
  • Proficiency with CRM and digital sales tools, such as Salesforce.
  • Valid passport and drivers license with the ability to travel up to 45% across the US and Canada.
