Overview
The Digital Enterprise (DE) Technical Authority (TA) Program Representative will provide support to the VPM, CLB, and SSN(X) Technical Authority team. This includes both managing and working on initiatives to further develop and enhance Electric Boats capability to deliver design disclosure information internally to all downstream consumers as well as externally to SUPSHIP and NAVSEA.
The TA Program Representative would support:
- Manage and facilitate the TA Core Team with working on initiatives brought from across the business to enhance the TA disclosure development and delivery process.
- Manage the action trackers and ECD’s for the TA Core Team.
- Drive efficiency into the TA value stream by developing and tracking tool updates/testing, processes/procedures and training.
- Work with the Future plant studies team to develop the strategies and schedules for the TA Digital Plan elements for SSN(X)
- Manage the Format and Content development plan for SSN(X)Coordinate funding, project schedules, milestones and plans of action for the digital initiatives relating to Model Based Definition and Advance Design Capabilities for SSN(X) and IPMP.
- Assist in running the TA Core Team and facilitate resources to drive resolution to issues raised by the TA Discipline leads as well as downstream functional areas.
- Generate and facilitate management of metric reporting for TA Task Progress, TA ITCR development, and TA value stream budget while targeting metric improvement areas based on implemented process/tool changes.
- Maintain status of all ITCR’s and Task’s to closure.
- Communicate and provide training when applicable to updated processes and software changes.
- Supporting & coordinating business case development for new TA Digital Enterprise tasking improvements.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this position the applicant should have:
- Project Management Skills: Managing to established dates and schedules, as well as estimating and scheduling new task development
- High level working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter and NX
- Metric creation and Evaluation: Creating and utilizing metrics to drive positive behaviors and identifying areas for change to help achieve the CLB and VA acceleration goals.
- Experience with new submarine program development and the submarine design cycle
- Facilitation Skills: To lead brainstorming sessions, team meetings, and cross discipline discussions on different initiatives
- Ability to develop effective relationships
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of Digital Enterprise (DE) Technical Authority (TA) processes & tools
- Knowledge of the TA development process from concept through disclosure delivery.

- Demonstrated Project Management Skills
- Innovative and persistent personality
Qualifications
Required:
- Associates degree or higher in engineering, business or information technology
- 1+ years of related experience with managing project schedules, artemis schedules and requirements.
- Minimum 1 years' experience with Teamcenter
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through The Department of Defense
Preferred:
- Experience with creating and utilizing statistics to drive business decisions
- Experience in Model Based Delivery of design information
