Unlike a traditional PMO role, this position focuses on the operationalization of strategy—ensuring the company has the resources, manufacturing synchronization, and workflow efficiency to execute a portfolio of DoD contracts. You will bridge the gap between high-level program management and system design to ground-level production, ensuring that operational systems are scalable, compliant, and optimized for rapid prototype delivery. - Resource & Capacity Planning: Lead enterprise-wide resource allocation. Identify bottlenecks in personnel or facilities and implement strategies to scale capacity in alignment with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Quality Management:
- Compliance Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing or leading an organization through AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent aerospace quality certifications within a federal contracting environment.
- Corrective Action Leadership: Proven track record in leading teams through the creation and implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAP) following internal or external audit findings.
- Process Engineering & Optimization: Standardize execution workflows across the organization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile) to reduce waste and improve the velocity of delivery from concept to production.
- Supply Chain & Manufacturing Integration: Work closely with procurement and in-house manufacturing to ensure the "Heavy-Alloy" production and assembly lines are synchronized with program execution needs.
- Business System Excellence: Ensure the disciplined use of ERP/MRP and EVMS tools to provide real-time visibility into operational performance. Act as a champion for digital engineering and MBSE integration into the physical production lifecycle.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Oversee operational compliance with FAR/DFARS. Lead the operational response to DCMA/DCAA audits, ensuring that business systems (Purchasing, Property, and Accounting) support seamless execution.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Cultivate a culture of accountability and high performance. Lead a cross-functional team of execution leads, ensuring they have the tools and training to deliver on complex DoD requirements.
