About This Position

At True North Fleet Services, in partnership with trusted partner – Myles Wrecker Service, we are looking for a Wrecker Manager who takes pride in leading strong teams, driving operational performance, and ensuring safe, efficient towing and recovery services.

This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across both heavy-duty and light-duty wrecker divisions, developing drivers and operators, and maintaining a culture focused on safety, urgency, and accountability. Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of both heavy-duty and light-duty wrecker services to ensure efficient workflow and response times
Manage, coach, and develop drivers and operators across all shifts
Ensure all towing and recovery operations meet safety standards and company expectations
Coordinate closely with dispatch to prioritize calls and optimize response efficiency
Provide leadership and guidance on complex recoveries and accident scenes
Identify and resolve operational issues quickly to minimize downtime and service delays
Monitor team performance, response times, and overall operational productivity
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and equipment environment
Oversee fleet readiness, maintenance coordination, and equipment utilization
Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, urgency, and growth

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in towing, recovery, or wrecker operations (heavy-duty experience strongly preferred)
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
Ability to effectively communicate with drivers, dispatch, and customers
Familiarity with dispatch operations, routing, and performance metrics
Strong understanding of safety protocols and recovery procedures
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required)
