- Partner with academic leadership to define and implement faculty development strategies, programs, and priorities that strengthen instructional quality and engagement.
- Oversee faculty onboarding, mentoring, and orientation programs to ensure effective preparation for online adult learning environments.
- Manage faculty performance systems, including coaching observations, instructional quality metrics, engagement data, and continuous feedback loops.
- Develop and deliver actionable faculty performance reports, translating data into insights that support decision-making and improvement strategies.
- Lead faculty course review processes, ensuring consistent evaluation, feedback, and follow-up support for instructional enhancement.
- Design and facilitate faculty training programs aligned with best practices in online pedagogy, adult learning theory, and assessment strategies.
- Coordinate and improve faculty development resources and external partnerships to support continuous professional growth.
- Research and integrate emerging tools and technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance instructional design and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate across academic teams to ensure alignment between faculty development initiatives and institutional goals.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems, processes, and tools supporting faculty success and student learning outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree required in education, instructional design, higher education, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in online higher education or adult learning environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory, online pedagogy, and instructional best practices.
- Experience working with learning management systems such as Brightspace or equivalent platforms.
- Proficiency with digital tools including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, multimedia training tools, and AI-based content creation platforms.
- Demonstrated experience leading faculty development, training programs, mentoring initiatives, or instructional coaching.
- Ability to analyze and interpret faculty performance data to support continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to integrate a Christian worldview into professional responsibilities and academic support practices.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential academic and personnel information.
- Experience working in mission-driven or values-based educational environments is a plus.
